73 Year Old Nursing Home Resident Found in a Large Dumpster Behind Facility

73 Year Old Nursing Home Resident Found in a Large Dumpster Behind Facility – Unbelievable. Another story of a nursing home resident found dead outside the facility before the nursing home ever reported the resident was missing. Last week in Detroit, construction workers found a 73 year old nursing home resident’s body in a dumpster behind the nursing home. It was not until later that day that the workers at the nursing home even called to report the nursing home resident missing. Which begs the question: How is it that a nursing home does not notice or report a missing resident until after the resident’s body was found/discovered by others in a dumpster behind the facility? Or was the nursing home in some way responsible for this resident’s death? A corporate decision to understaff to maximize profits. This is a tragic story for the family.
