Denise Gonzales
Denise Gonzales is a paralegal whose emphasis is in the analysis of medical issues for personal injury, medical malpractice, workers’ comp, wrongful death and elder abuse cases.
In the early 1980s, Ms. Gonzales relocated to Sacramento from the San Francisco Bay Area and obtained emergency medical training at Solano Community College. She began a career in medicine as an Emergency Medical Technician, providing emergency care to both critical and non-critical patients and progressed into a position, as a State Certified Hemodialysis Technician treating chronically ill renal (kidney) failure patients.
In the mid 1990s, Ms. Gonzales received her AA degree and certificate from American River College. She began her career as a paralegal, working in large insurance defense law firms, where she received extensive training in litigation and, more specifically, in trial preparation for the courtroom involving the coordination of both mock trials and actual courtroom media presentations. She also assisted defense experts in their investigations using electronic demonstrative graphics in several large trucking cases.
In her spare time, Denise stays active as a Martial Arts Self-Defense Instructor teaching Safety Awareness seminars and mixed Martial Arts clinics and also coaches a Sacramento Judo team nationwide.
