Education & Professional Experience

Ms. Gerges graduated from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with Distinction. Ms. Gerges was a member of the Dean’s List through the duration of her law school career and achieved Witkin Awards in her Torts and Civil Pretrial Litigation courses. She was also a member of the Traynor Honor Society and the recipient of an academic achievement scholarship. While attending law school, Ms. Gerges served as lead counsel on family law cases for low-income clients seeking assistance from McGeorge’s Civil Practice Clinic. After excelling in her Appellate Advocacy course, she became a student teacher, assisting fellow students in their oral and written advocacy skills. During her law school summers, Ms. Gerges gained invaluable experience as a judicial extern for U.S. District Court Judge Kimberly J. Mueller and studied Fundamental Rights under Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Gerges graduated from the University of California, Davis, where she earned degrees in both economics and political science.

In her spare time, Ms. Gerges enjoys spending time with friends and family as well as yoga, soccer and cooking.
