MS. WENDY YORK: Wrongful termination usually takes the form of when an employee has engaged in whistle-blowing activities and the employer's response was to fire them. That's a form of retaliation. And oftentimes that worker's career, their life course has been—has taken a major detour. So our job is to fight for and vindicate for that worker, to hold that company, to hold that employer responsible for that wrongful firing. Because no employee should be fired for doing the right thing and engaging in whistle-blowing activities.
